T&G Global in Hawkes Bay, one of the largest apple packhouses in the Southern Hemisphere have 7 Aporo II packing machines operating over 14 packing lanes. 

T&G was already saving costs and benefiting from the efficiency, consistency and reliability of the world class Aporo automation technology.

T&G has further enhanced its innovative operations with the introduction of new technology, including Aporo’s new intelligent integration software that connects the Aporo packers to the packhouse control software (SCADA). The software uses the OPC-UA protocol enabling machine to machine communication.

By integrating the software into T&G’s own SCADA system means any Aporo settings can be adjusted from the control room by a single operator. The intergration software delivers real time information in multiple formats with visuals over all of our Aporo machines.
